EV Charger Installation in Birmingham
From apartments in the Jewellery Quarter to terraces in Ladywood, we fit home chargers right across central Birmingham. Driving electric makes even more sense here. Electric cars don’t pay the Clean Air Zone charge, and charging overnight at home costs a fraction of the public rapid chargers in town.

About Birmingham
Living with an electric car in Birmingham
Birmingham city centre has changed more in the last twenty years than almost anywhere in the UK. The Bullring, Grand Central and the canal-side bars of Brindleyplace sit a short walk from the Jewellery Quarter’s workshops and the converted warehouses of Digbeth. More people live in the centre than ever, mostly in apartments and townhouses, and the Clean Air Zone inside the A4540 Middleway has pushed many of them towards electric cars.
Areas we cover around Birmingham: Jewellery Quarter, Digbeth, Ladywood, Edgbaston Village, Eastside, Southside, Brindleyplace and Snow Hill.

Fitted to suit Birmingham homes
Plenty of city-centre homes are flats with an allocated space in a shared car park. If you rent or own a flat, the government grant of up to £500 is still open until 31 March 2027. We’ll arrange the permission you need from the management company and claim the grant for you. If you have a house with a drive in Ladywood or Edgbaston Village, a standard 7kW install usually takes about half a day.

Your questions
EV chargers in Birmingham: FAQs
I live in an apartment block. Can I still have a charger?
Usually, yes, if you have your own allocated space. We’ll need written permission from the freeholder or management company, and we can help you ask for it. Renters and flat owners can get up to £500 off until 31 March 2027.
Do electric cars pay the Birmingham Clean Air Zone charge?
No. Fully electric cars meet the zone’s standards, so there’s no daily charge to drive into the centre.
How much does a home charger cost in Birmingham?
We give you one fixed price, including VAT, before we start. A standard install covers a 7kW smart charger, up to 10m of cable, testing, the certificate and app set-up. Anything extra is priced from your photos before you agree.
Who answers if I call in the evening?
One of our directors. Our office line diverts to them outside office hours, so you’ll always talk to a person.
